Our first time at this Caravan and Camping site run by the Caravaning Club. I was very impressed with the facilities. The superior pitch has access to electricity, water and a drain. We arrived in the dark and was met by a friendly warden who helped us to pick a pitch and made sure that we had everything that we needed for hook up. Wyeside was shutting for the season in the morning but all the facilities were still spotlessly clean and tidy. The showers were really hot. Dog friendly, as all the club sites are. What a lovely well maintained, friendly & happy site. I just stayed Fri to Sun with friends & haven't been here for 10 or 11 years, what a difference, amazing in a good way. We had the weather for it too only one thunderstorm Saturday evening as we had the BBQ on but hey ho, other than that perfect sunshine. Lovely clean site, nice flat pitches. Beautiful walk along the river and town within 10 minutes with pubs/ restaurants, takeaways, coop, spar and local shops. Only downside is the noise from motorbikes on the road above, but all peaceful at night.
