Saint Clement's Church stands as a lovely example of medieval architecture, while the surrounding countryside offers gentle walking through farmland and nature reserves. The seal colony at nearby Donna Nook draws visitors in winter months, though it's a fair trek from the town itself.

Getting here couldn't be simpler - the A52 runs straight from the A16, and while there's no railway station in Mablethorpe itself, Skegness is just 20 minutes south with decent rail links to the Midlands. Lincoln, the county town, sits about 40 miles inland for those wanting a dose of cathedral cities and Roman history.

Staying at one of the local holiday parks makes perfect sense for exploring this quieter section of coast. You're well-positioned for day trips to Skegness or inland to the Lincolnshire Wolds, while having those excellent beaches practically on your doorstep.
