About Anger's Hill
This is a proper walkers' spot. If you're staying at one of the nearby parks - Chapel Farm is genuinely excellent if you can get in, and Wyldecrest is just down the road - Anger's Hill makes for a cracking morning ramble. Half an hour to get up, twenty minutes to come down, then you're back for lunch. Families with teenagers will find it manageable; younger kids might find the gradient a bit of a slog, to be honest.
There's nothing fancy here - no visitor centre, no café, no entrance fee that I'm aware of. Just a hill, some grass, and views that make you remember why you came to Surrey in the first place. The ground can get muddy after rain, so proper boots are worth bringing. Early morning is best if you want any sense of peace, though even then you'll only bump into a handful of people. Worth the detour if you're based nearby, less so if you're passing through.
