If you're looking for a close-to wild camping experience, this site is perfect. There are no showers, but the views and exclusivity (one group at a time) make it totally worthwhile. Very straightforward to deal with the council/rangers for the booking too. Thanks!

Love this campsite. Simple enough. If you enjoy wild camping, this is the campsite for that. It is difficult to make a booking as it only allow one booking per time. Even you are camping alone. You could have a whole campsite. I suggest that the campsite should open for multi-groups booking at one time depend on the number of people. There were plenty of space enough for few groups of people.

Didn't camp. Walked. Beautiful walks through woodland on the chalk downs of Surrey. Walked for about 2 hours without ever retracing my steps. Dog loves it!

Stunning views and real old fashioned no frills camping. There is a tap and chemical loos, each of the 2 pitches have a fire pit, and some bins for any rubbish are on site. If you are after peace and quiet, some lovely walks, and some time in nature, it is perfect. Ranger I dealt with was superbly friendly and a real credit to the Council. Great camp and I will be back!

When you stay you get access to a small barn that has table and chairs and some shelter if you need a sit down inside for a bit. There's als...
