The car park at Brontë Parsonage Museum in Haworth is honestly a bit of a non-event on its own - it's just somewhere to leave your car before heading into the museum itself. That said, if you're driving out to Keighley way to explore Brontë Country, you'll need to know about it. The actual parsonage is the draw: the Georgian house where Charlotte, Emily and Anne wrote their masterpieces, with original furnishings and manuscripts on display. Allow a couple of hours inside, longer if you're genuinely into the sisters' work. It's not free - expect to pay for entry - but literary types will find it worthwhile. History enthusiasts and anyone who's read Jane Eyre or Wuthering Heights will get the most out of it. The village of Haworth itself is steep and cobbled, worth a wander before or after. If you're staying at one of the nearby parks like Bronte Country Park or Upwood Holiday Park, you're perfectly positioned. The moors around here are brilliant for walkers too - proper Yorkshire landscape. Best to go midweek if you can; weekends get rammed with tourists. Haworth's only a mile or so uphill from Keighley, so it's an easy day trip. Worth the stop if the Brontës are your thing, less essential if you're just after scenery.
