Salisbury Hillside Caravan and Motorhome Club Campsite sits just 2.2 miles away, and you could easily combine a woodland wander here with exploring the cathedral city itself or tackling longer walks across the Wiltshire chalk downs. The Meadow Glamping, a touch further out at 4.3 miles, puts you firmly in countryside territory if you're after something more immersive.

Bring decent boots if the ground's wet - these woodland paths can get properly squelchy. No facilities to speak of, so come prepared.
