Court Barn Museum

Court Barn sits on the edge of Chipping Campden, a proper Cotswold stone building that's been converted into a small museum focused on the local Arts and Crafts movement. The collection centres on work by C.R. Ashbee and his Guild of Handicraft - silverware, jewellery, textiles and furniture mostly - which gives you a genuine feel for what these craftsmen were actually making rather than just reading about it in a guidebook.

It's worth an hour if you're already in Campden wandering the high street. History and design types will get more from it than kids, to be honest - there's limited interactive elements and the pieces, while lovely, need your full attention. The setting itself is charming though, and staff tend to be knowledgeable without being overbearing.

Chipping Campden's compact enough that you can combine this with a walk around the town's stone cottages and the Market Hall.
