Donnington Wood Skate Park is the sort of place that'll keep teenagers occupied for hours, which frankly is a godsend when you're trying to enjoy a caravan holiday nearby. It's a proper concrete setup with bowls, ramps and street features - nothing fancy, but it works. The park sits just outside Shifnal, making it a ten-minute drive from Ted's Farm Caravan and Camping Site if you've got skateboarders or BMX riders in tow.

Skaters will find this worth a visit. The transitions are decent enough to keep intermediates challenged, and beginners have space to practice without feeling too exposed. It's free to use, which is the main thing when you're budgeting a week away.
