Fish Hill

The view from Fish Hill stops you dead. On a clear day you're looking across the Vale of Evesham with the Malvern Hills rising up in the distance - properly expansive stuff. It's a straightforward pull-off viewpoint on the B4632 between Broadway and Chipping Campden, which means you can visit without making a whole expedition of it.

What you get is a panorama, essentially. The kind of vista that makes sense of why the Cotswolds pull people back year after year. On misty mornings it's atmospheric rather than clear; on bright afternoons it's the real deal. Most folk spend twenty minutes here, snap some photos, and head on. It's not a place to linger for hours unless you're genuinely into landscape photography or just want a quiet spot to sit with a flask.

Families with young children might find it a bit thin - there's nothing to actually do, just look. Walkers using the Cotswold Way or combining it with a Broadway ramble will rate it highly. History types less so, since it's purely about the view.

Parking is free and easy. The area around Broadway itself has proper accommodation at the Caravan and Motorhome Club Campsite just a couple of miles away, plus holiday parks like Leedons and Cotswold Woodland Glamping within striking distance if you're basing yourself nearby. If you're staying in the region, it's absolutely worth the detour. Don't expect it to be the highlight of your trip though - think of it as a cracking bonus rather than the main event.
