Forest Round Wood

Forest Round Wood sits just outside Stockbridge and is one of those places that doesn't announce itself with car parks or visitor centres - you simply turn up and walk in. It's a proper beech and oak woodland with enough girth to the trees to make you feel properly away from things, even though you're barely five miles from town.

Free to access, as far as I can tell, with no facilities to speak of.
