Great Pinners Wood

Walk far enough into Great Pinners Wood and you'll forget Canterbury's medieval streets exist at all. This is proper woodland - towering beeches, ancient oaks, and paths that wind through quiet glades where the only sound is your boots on the leaf litter. It's the kind of place that rewards you for getting lost.

The wood works best for serious walkers rather than casual strollers.
