The wood sits well within a day that might also include cycling round Oxford or visiting the colleges. Admission appears to be free, which at least keeps the commitment low. Worth a visit? Yes, particularly if you're based in the area and want a low-key forest walk. Worth driving an hour for? Probably not on its own.
