The Kent High Weald Partnership isn't a visitor attraction in the traditional sense - it's an environmental organisation working across the rolling landscape between Cranbrook and the Sussex border. Glassenbury Camping sits just 2.8 miles away, making it a natural base. Spend a morning walking, pack a picnic, and you've got yourself a proper day out. The area's free to explore - though donations to the Partnership's conservation work are always welcome. Best visited spring through autumn when the woodland's actually doing something worth looking at.
