Kidzworld

Near Par, about ten minutes inland from the coast, Kidzworld is an indoor play centre that caters to the under-12 crowd. Think soft play structures, ball pits, slides, climbing frames - the usual suspects. It's the sort of place that saves a rainy afternoon when you've promised the kids a day out and the Cornish weather has other ideas.

The facility spans multiple levels with different zones for different ages, so toddlers won't get trampled by boisterous five-year-olds. Parents can actually sit down with a coffee while the kids burn off energy in climate-controlled comfort. Nothing revolutionary, but it does the job well enough.

If you're staying at Pentewan Sands Holiday Park or Tremarne Campsite - both excellent bases for a Cornish break - Kidzworld is a convenient fifteen-minute drive when you need an indoor option. Mena Farm is slightly further but still within easy reach. It's not the sort of place you'd plan your holiday around, but if you're already in the area with young children and the weather turns, it's worth knowing it exists. Allow two to three hours max; most kids have had their fill by then.
