This works best for people who actually like walking and aren't after theme parks or attractions with entry fees. Families with older kids who'll appreciate a proper countryside view, rather than toddlers wanting slides. History types get something from it too - the landscape itself tells stories about how these hills have shaped settlement patterns.

If you're staying at Home Farm Camping, Bella Vista, or Orchard View Farm - all within a few miles - this is a decent half-morning outing to break up a caravan holiday. Pack a flask, wear decent shoes, and time it for late afternoon when the light turns golden across the valleys. It won't take all day, but it's well worth the detour from High Wycombe proper.
