The Library and Resource Centre sits right in Ludlow town centre, which is honestly the main reason to visit it rather than the building itself. It's a functional, modern space - nothing fancy - but if you're based at one of the nearby holiday parks like Ludlow Touring or Monstay Farm and the weather turns, it's a solid indoor option.

What you get is a proper working library with the usual mix of books, computers, and quiet study areas. There's a local studies section that's actually worth poking through if you're interested in Ludlow's medieval history and the Welsh borderlands - the staff tend to know their stuff. Kids might tolerate the children's section for thirty minutes or so, but it's hardly a day-out destination.

The real pull is that Ludlow itself is genuinely worth a wander. The castle, the Georgian architecture, the decent restaurants - you'll spend an hour browsing the library shelves and then head out to explore the town properly. It's free to enter, opening hours are standard weekday-to-Saturday fare, and parking in town is usually manageable.

If you're staying at Woodland Escapes or Greenway further out, it's worth the drive on a rainy afternoon, but don't build your entire park holiday around visiting. It's filler between better attractions, not the main event.
