For a caravan holiday based at Oakland Holiday Park or Pillaton Hall Farm nearby, it's a worthwhile morning or afternoon addition rather than a destination in itself. Pair it with a visit to Brewood's High Street and local pubs for context. Late spring through early autumn gives the best visibility of the earthworks when grass is shorter. Free to visit, naturally - there's nowhere to pay. It won't grip children for long unless they're already into Roman forts, but for adults with a genuine interest in how the military occupied Britain, it's the real article, not a theme park version.
