The building itself follows traditional church architecture - nothing particularly striking from the outside, but step inside and you'll find the peaceful atmosphere that draws locals for Sunday services and the occasional wedding.

History buffs might appreciate the connection to the area's religious heritage, though Saint Pauls doesn't have the ancient graveyards or medieval stonework you'd find at some of Northern Ireland's more famous ecclesiastical sites. It's very much a working church rather than a heritage attraction.

Families staying at nearby Tollymore Campsite or Windsor Holiday Park might pass by during walks around Newcastle, but honestly, unless you're particularly interested in local church architecture or attending a service, it's not worth a special detour. The real draws in this area are the spectacular Mournes themselves and Tollymore Forest Park with its famous Game of Thrones filming locations.
