St Cennydd’s Church

Historically minded visitors will get the most from this. Families won't find much to keep children occupied for long - thirty minutes maximum unless they're genuinely into old stonework. Walkers doing the Gower, though, will find it slots perfectly into a morning circuit, especially if you're based at one of the caravan parks dotted around the peninsula like Gower Farm or Broughton Farm nearby.

Go on a day with decent light - the interior's dim even when the sun's out, and you'll want to actually see the detail. Worth the detour if you're in the area, but don't plan a day around it alone.
