St Peter's & St Paul's isn't going to stop you in your tracks like some of the grand cathedrals elsewhere, but there's real character here - proper medieval stonework, the kind of place where you can actually feel the centuries.

Inside, the architecture tells the story. Late medieval construction, local stone, and the sort of intimate scale that makes you realise how central the church would have been to village life. The stained glass is decent without being spectacular, and the furnishings have that honest, worn quality you get in working parish churches rather than heavily restored tourist attractions.

Historically minded types will find it engaging; kids might manage twenty minutes before restlessness sets in. It's the sort of visit you'd pair with a walk around Ringwood's high street rather than make a special trip for. If you're based at Fernwood Glamping or Ashley Heath Caravan Park, it's close enough for a Sunday morning stroll - no more than ten minutes from either site.

Admission appears to be free, though you'll want to check ahead for opening times if you're planning a specific visit. The New Forest's nearby, so it slots nicely into a broader Dorset holiday. Not essential viewing, but if you're the type who visits local churches, you won't regret the detour.
