The stream that gives the place its name trickles through the lower sections, which the kids will find interesting for precisely fifteen minutes before demanding ice cream. The woodland floor is soft underfoot, especially after rain, so proper walking boots aren't essential but they'll save your trainers from looking like you've trudged through a bog.

This works well as a stretch-your-legs stop if you're based at Rye Harbour Holiday Park - close enough not to feel like a detour, far enough that you're genuinely away from the caravans and facilities.
