Tidnock Wood

Walk into Tidnock Wood and you're immediately under proper old-growth canopy - the kind of place where light filters through in dusty shafts and the path underfoot is soft with decades of leaf fall. It's a genuine woodland experience rather than a manicured park, which means it feels like somewhere real people actually go, not somewhere designed for visitors.

The wood sits close to Congleton, making it a dead easy detour if you're based at one of the nearby camping spots like Avona Escapes or Sycamore Farm.
