Barrow Campsite Nairn

Absolutely wonderful campsite in a beautiful area with stunning scenery. The facilities were spotless and well maintained, and there’s even a handy little shop on site. Lamas and goats. Jane gave us such a warm welcome, and both she and Gary were incredibly helpful throughout our stay. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience – highly recommended! Thanks guys. Really well thought out newish campsite. Generous well spaced pitches. Very friendly and helpful staff. (Maybe owner.). Extremely clean toilets and really excellent showers with folding doors, in fact the best I've ever seen on a campsite. Exposed position, so expect to notice the northern Scottish climate. Definitely recommended.

Very clean site, toilet blocks were also spotless but the showers could have been a little warmer. Play park for the kids and a family room to sit in with games and books.

Pitches well laid out with fabulous views of the countryside. New site - very quiet and relaxing. Fun to watch the antics of the goats and alpacas (I think) in fields close by.

We are 2 motorcyclists who ave travelled overland all the way from Singapore and found this quiet campsite tucked away slightly outside of Nairn. We loved our stay and thoroughly enjoyed being out in the open space (as tents were a comfortable distance away from each other), big grass fields to roam, nice river for a dip, and clean toilets and washing area.
