The campsite is well placed, as it is located on the Cumbrian Way. It isn't too big a campsite, and has 2 shower rooms, male and female toilets and a wash cabin. There is a variety of pitches, some with power, and others without, a yurt and wooden hut. Each pitch has a fire pit, and wood can be purchased from the village store (we paid £6 per bag of wood as of 26 August 2025). The owners are v...

Really lovely campsite. I arrived a bit early but they let me set up anyway and I got a lovely, Riverside pitch. The pub and shop are nearby and very welcoming if a tad expensive but the campsite itself is really good value. Nine quid a night for peace, quiet and clean facilities. Will definitely return and recommend to friends 😎

We've just returned and it's a lovely peaceful campsite with clean facilities. The host was very welcoming and friendly and kept everything to a great standard. The only downside were people talking loudly first thing in the morning both days but this isn't the campsites fault!

2 of us have just completed the Cumbria Way and we used this site as out last camp. A very nice campsite with good facilities and a great location. We were greeted by the owner, friendly and very helpful. A great pub and a cafe are very close by and both very good. Overall a very good campsite and we would highly recommend it to everyone.
