Cherry Bird Country Park

I visited Cherry Bird this weekend for some relaxation before the Christmas mayhem. We shared a three bedroom lodge with hot tub; each room had an ensuite and the lodge was clean, well maintained, and well equipped. Stayed here for 4 nights and what a beautiful place I wish we could have stayed longer so quiet and remote the site manager Cheryl was such a lovely lady and very helpful. We stayed in a very nice lodge on Cherry Bird farm. It's a very quiet place with nothing on site other than the reception and the lodges. If isolated and quiet is what you are looking for then it's perfect. Beware as of summer 2025 the lodges do not have WiFi. But mobile reception is good. This was our first time here and it was fantastic. We are already looking at booking next year but for two weeks instead of the one as we did not want to leave. The location was perfect and the wildlife around us was fantastic can't wait to get back.
