Clarion Lodge Campsite

Stayed at Clarion Lodge for two nights. Two of us in VW camper. Clarion is a lovely well kept site. Not in walking distance to town but perched up on a hill with amazing views Good points Well kept Clean facilities Washing up room with fridge and freezer Free WiFi Hot showers Friendly staff Self check in Site has security barrier Good views Bad points Toilet block not heated (Not nice November)...

I only stayed one night in my campervan. Site had everything I needed and was very well maintained. I did think the prices were a bit much compared to other sites. £25 for the pitch £10 for electric per night? and £5 for an awning. Lovely views. Just remember though it's close to Leeds and Bradford Airport

Great location, we tried both the cabin and bell tent and loved them. Good for families with young kids for sure. Staff really friendly and everything has a good vibe to it. The area is beautiful, too. Would highly recommend:)

We booked this as we were doing the Emmerdale tour and this was fairly local (approximately 9 miles away). Arrival was hassle free and automated. There is a map of the site at the barrier and your name is by your pitch, simples. We had electric hook up for the camper so that was great. It was peaceful and the view was lovely. Just had an amazing weekend in the pods. There were 10 ladies of various ages. The pods were clean, warm and very comfy. Everything we needed. The host came to check on us, made sure we had everything we needed. Would highly recommend. Beautiful place
