Cowpots Camping

Absolutely wonderful stay despite the wind and rain! My mum and I camped with my 4 dogs on a top track pitch ‘Mabel’. The views were breathtaking! The compost toilet and shower were amazingly well thought out and designed. We made use of and enjoyed the dog field (although not quite 100% secure for small Jack Russells 😂) I highly recommend Cowpots for a short or long stay!

Absolutely fantastic campsite. Beautiful setting, well tended and spacious pitches, en suite with eco toilet and warm showers. Brilliant location within easy drives to our favorite coastal spots in the area. Friendly and welcoming hosts, take away pizza absolutely delicious. We went back for the 3rd year in a row this summer, and expect to be back again soon.

We had Thyme pitch on the tree field, for a week. The pitches are huge and well spaced out to have a sense of privacy. The covered kitchen/dining area and 'en suite' toilet and shower make camping here so convenient. My only comment is that the toilet could have a proper door on it to provide a bit more privacy. We were happy enough as only us and the kids, but I'm not sure I'd want to share a pit...
