Second time staying here, nice friendly atmosphere. Right next to the river. Facilities kept clean and tidy, disabled friendly. Garage across the road, with shop ( no alcohol). Bus stop up road turn left outside Touring park. About 50 metres. Nice clean site Kevin very friendly and helpful. Pitches good size. Toilets only let down mens only had 1 toilet so they used disabled one so often not available for disabled people also not cleaned whilst we were there bin over flowing.

Bit confused when I arrived as I couldn't find the office / reception.. After a bit of a search, I discoverd the closed up bungalow had individual envelopes for each arrival, attached to the front door. Envelope contained details of pitch and a mobile number (Kevin) to call. Worth the search... Riverside pitch and a well maintained site. Clean toilets and showers. A limited Spar shop in garage ...

My first visit to this lovely campsite having previously stayed at the C&CC areas in Norfolk and Suffolk. This place is very well mai rained by friendly staff who are very welcoming and seem genuinely pleased to be there. The site wasn’t busy but the adjacent pub does a roaring trade. Our pitch was right on the river Wissey so I was able to swim whenever I wanted to. We also saw and heard a couple of otters frolicking in the river after dark. It is nicely situated for nature lovers and we saw deer and various birds from our pitch. The toilet block is well thought out, and clean, although my shower ranged from scalding hot to freezing cold which I did report. Dogs are welcome. ...
