This is a fantastic location. It's a different story to Seaton Sands Haven site on the east coast. There are pros and cons to this park. It's within driving distance of Glasgow (1 hour) and Ayer is about 15-20 minutes. Glasgow isn't a touch on Edinburgh (which is a 2 hour drive) but there are plenty of natural and historical sights within driving distance. The beach really needs cleaning up. It's ...

Great site has everything you need to not leave the site. Its very big and dependant on where you caravan is its a long walk to the amenities or the beach. Ideal holiday park if you like busy sites that you dont want to leave. The area itself outside the park is ok but doesn't have much nearby. We like exploring and walking so for us was limited.
