High Gaitle Caravan Park

Lovely little sight where the new owners are making a huge difference. We stayed in our toured for 3 nights and found the owners extremely helpful. Very close to Gretna and only 10mins from Carlisle

Lovely little stopover on the way back from Scotland. We had a hard standing with no electric. The pitch was mainly level. There were lovely little touches in the showers and utility room that you don't expect such as toiletries, coffee, hot chocolate and biscuits. Generally quiet with nice views, there is a bit of traffic noise but that's to be expected given it's location. Didn't stop us sleepin...

Caravan park is kept spotlessly clean, toilets and showers even had a shampoo and shower gel . Kitchen area also immaculate and had spare squeezy and sponges just in case you had run out, kettle and some coffee available too, staff very friendly ,will certainly use again when staying in the area,

Lovely site. Quiet despite being beside the road. Longtown is nearby for pubs, shops and takeaway food. Lovely, clean facilities. Family run site. Grass pitches and hardstanding. Inexpensive with electricity included.

Mainly grass, so can get a little waterlogged. Good for one night when on travels. Directly on the main road, so noise is almost constant. Facilities; toilets/showers a little dated, but do the job. Nice touches with the toothbrush/paste kit if you have forgotten, magazine/library too in the wash room, along with kettle and local info. Owner/manager is friendly and helpful.
