Been coming here for many years now and found it isn't as good as it used to be. The lodge we have had has a few issues. No mattress protector/ pillow protector too, the bedding looks as tired as the rest of lodge. Came earlier this year! Lovely chilled place to go great location. Staff at the local hay bar pub were great and food was perfect. Also great that it was very dog friendly. Nice relaxing weekend already looking to revisit.

Spent 7 nights in kirkstone 19, beautiful lodge, immaculate, we had issue with the tv which was quickly rectified unfortunately it went off again but we used the prime channel. The site is amazing. Staff cant help enough. Food at the Haybarn Inn was good, we got the bargain bucket of chicken strips and chips it was better than KFC. Beds were so comfy. Beautiful scenery and a very peaceful location, great walking routes nearby and ideal for dog walkers. Fourth time we’ve been and never get bored of the beauty of the lakes. We will definitely be back again soon. Highly recommend.
