Parkdean Resorts Weeley Bridge Holiday Park, Essex

It was great and the service is kind, they were generous and helped us a lot. One issue is that we had to change caravans because the first one had an odd small but overall it was great.

The day after check-in, somebody from Park Dean called me to make sure everything was okay. I explained I could feel the springs in the mattress (it was either old or very cheap)..... They told me they'd get back to me but never did!

I had a lovely week at Weeley Bridge. It's a small site compared to others, with a lake and ducks everywhere. It's convenient for trains and buses. It's surrounded by lovely countryside with plenty of places to explore within a short drive. I went during term time and it was lovely and peaceful. If you want loads of activities to do onsite you may prefer one of the larger parks in the area. For me...

Had a fantastic week in private caravan with views across the lake. Fishing was excellent 2 carp, numerous silvers and roach. Park is in close proximity to Clacton on Sea.

The holiday park is nice but no “shop” – only 2 shelves & a fridge. Only a few things in reception being sold. My milk that I got there was out of date.
