Ruda Holiday Park

Used to go here as a kid and recently took my parents, great to go back for the memories! Stayed in a gold lodge which was really lovely! Pool was great for my 3 year old and was clean, believe it has been recently refurbed (but still felt like a similar or the same layout.) Evening entertainment was fine. We have never been to a place that we would want to come back to but this place is truly special. The staff, most specifically the entertainment team Heather and Charlie (Aka Sean lol) you truly made our week. I've always been sceptical when I read the reviews before arriving but these two are so welcoming, entertainment, friendly and they took the time to remember out twins names and even mine. ...

We returned here this Feb half term with it under new management. We were so impressed, staff were amazingly helpful etc, site was clean. I particularly want to mention how brilliant the 2 working the entertainment were. They made a point of remembering the children, and making a fuss of them if they went to talk to them! We, and the kids had a great week away !

The facilities at the park are brilliant however. HOWEVER the staff notified us saying we could enter our caravan at 4... We got they're and had to wait 3 hours. The sofas we're uncomfortable and the base of them would move and shift which was really annoying. The beds were insane. They were so comfortable. Memory foam. Arcades brilliant. Pool exceptional. Last day today of a 4 night break, I will admit bit of sketchy start due to the park reopening after some major upgrades and investment but overall once again John Fowler did not disappoint. Lovely accommodation, clean, tidy and the staff were great like always. By the way whoever owns John Fowler, Please treat Christina the general manager to something nice!
