Stanmore Hall Touring Park

Lovely site, well maintained, toilet blocks faultlessly clean with lovely hot showers. Staff very friendly and helpful. Lake looks lovely when lite up at night. Nice addition of a small bar since we last stayed too.

Lovely campsite, staff all very welcoming. The weather wasn’t great (mid Feb) but the site and location more than made up for that. The on site shop is well stocked with all the essentials and even leisure batteries. The small bar was lovely and warm in the evening too. All in all one of the better campsites we’ve stayed at. Great touring site. One of my favourite sites to go to. Pitch prices are good. £31 for fully serviced pitch which I think is very fair compared to other sites who charge a lot more for the same sort of pitch. Visited the park 23rd Jan to the 25th and what a 5 star experience. Check in with the lovely Karen was smooth and efficient, I was offered advice on the local area, the peacock press, the site newsletter which is given on arrival and tells me about local walks, takeaways, dog friendly pubs and suggested days out just as a starter. 5* experience all round! Staff are so friendly, toilets and showers are "operating theatre" clean! The surroundings and wildlife are beautiful. My daughter really enjoyed feeding the ducks and the peacocks. Had lots of help from Tom whilst staying there, helping me resolve an issue with the camper van heater. Can't reccommend this place highly enough. Will definitely be back :)
