We had a fabulous stay in the Goldfinch for my wife's birthday. Ciara and Derek went the extra mile and the place is a real sanctuary. Couldn't recommend more, it's more than glaming - it's basically a boutique hotel on the edge of the mountains with amazing views, a hot tub, and camp fire!

What an absolutely wonderful space to escape the chaos of life. Nestled right at the foot of The Mournes, with breathtaking views of the mountains, private hot tubs, wonderful access to hiking, cold water swimming this is an encounter with nature at its finest. The cosy cabins are rustic and enchanting and peaceful. A wonderful place, with wonderful hosts.

I waited to write this review after our 3 week trip because I had a feeling this was going to be my favorite. Cozy, charming, and peaceful atmosphere. The attention to detail really shows how much love Ciara and Derek put into their property. Will gladly return!

A last minute getaway for us and it didn’t disappoint. The views are just beautiful and the hosts are so welcoming, friendly and very helpful with making the most of our stay.
