The site works well as part of a New Forest park holiday. It's close to Oakdene Forest Park and Forest Edge Holiday Park if you're based around there, and gives you an indoor option on the inevitable rainy Dorset afternoon. It breaks up a week of woodland walks and pub lunches nicely. Ringwood itself is a decent enough market town for supplies, and you're well positioned for exploring the wider forest.
