The walk itself is straightforward enough, rewarding you with proper views across the Scottish Lowlands once you've got height on it. It's the kind of hill that works well alongside a park holiday rather than as a standalone destination - pair it with time at The WHW Hotel & Campsite just down the road, or knock it out as a morning before settling into Endrick Escape or Duncan Family Farms for the evening.
