Fairy Falls Waterfall (Rhaeadr Y Tylwyth Teg)

The walk to Fairy Falls takes you up through woodland that gets progressively steeper as you leave Llanrwst behind. It's not a long hike - maybe forty minutes or so to the waterfall itself - but your legs will know about it by the end. The reward is a proper waterfall, cascading down moss-covered rocks into a small pool, with the kind of light that makes you understand why the Welsh named it after fairies.
