Foot's Plantation

A proper walk through mixed woodland just outside Launceston, Foot's Plantation is the sort of place you stumble upon rather than plan for. The trees are dense enough to feel properly remote despite being minutes from town, with paths that wind through conifers and deciduous growth in equal measure.

It's best suited to walkers who don't need dramatic vistas or facilities - just quiet woodland and the chance to stretch legs without crowds.
