Great Wood

Great Wood feels properly wild - none of your manicured forestry plantation here, but a genuine chunk of old English woodland where bluebells carpet the floor in spring and autumn leaves crunch satisfyingly underfoot.

Families will find plenty of space for children to burn off energy, though keep little ones close as the paths aren't always obvious. The wood rewards those who take their time, with glimpses of wildlife and some lovely mature trees that have clearly been here for centuries.
