Horse Isle

You'll spot Horse Isle sitting in the Firth of Clyde between Ayrshire and the Isle of Arran - it's one of those landmarks that catches your eye on a map and makes you wonder what's actually there. The answer is fairly straightforward: it's a small tidal island, accessible on foot when the water drops low enough, with a handful of ruins and a fair bit of history attached to it.
