Howe Wood

Howe Wood sits just outside York and feels like proper woodland should - dense enough to lose the world, close enough that you won't actually get lost. It's a straightforward forest walk through mixed broadleaves, nothing fancy, just trees doing what trees do best.

It's the sort of place where you can actually hear yourself think, which is rarer than you'd expect near York.
