Families with younger kids might find it a bit samey after the first twenty minutes unless they're genuinely into spotting wildlife or collecting leaves. Stay at Irongorge Camping if you want to base yourself nearby - it's just over three miles away and gives you a proper woodland break without straying far from the Georgian ironworks and museums. Sytche Caravan Park is a touch further but another solid option. Limekiln Wood works best as a half-day activity paired with a visit to Coalbrookdale itself rather than a standalone destination.
