Little Star Wall

Scrambling up the rough coastal path west of Oxwich Bay, you'll find this modest stone marker that's become something of a local pilgrimage for walkers. Little Star Wall isn't actually a wall at all - it's a weathered limestone outcrop that juts from the cliff face like a natural viewing platform. The name comes from the small star carved into the rock, though nobody seems quite sure when or why it appeared.

From this perch, the view takes in the full sweep of Three Cliffs Bay to the east and Oxwich Point stretching into the Bristol Channel. It's particularly lovely at sunset when the light catches the limestone cliffs. Serious walkers will appreciate it as a waypoint on the longer coastal path, though families with younger children might find the final scramble a bit challenging.

The spot works well if you're staying at one of the nearby parks like Three Cliffs Bay Holiday Park or Oxwich Camping Park. Most people combine it with a visit to the famous Three Cliffs Bay itself - just don't expect facilities or signage up here. It's free, naturally, and accessible year-round, though the path can get slippery in wet weather. Allow an hour return from the main coastal path.
