March Hare Leisure Centre

Just outside Pershore, March Hare Leisure Centre is a proper all-rounder for anyone who needs to burn off some energy while on a Worcestershire caravan break. It's a sports facility with swimming pools, a gym, badminton courts, and a sports hall - the kind of place that keeps kids occupied on a rainy afternoon and gives adults a chance to work off the holiday calories.

The pools are the main draw. There's a main pool for serious swimmers and a smaller teaching pool, plus a shallow area if you've got little ones. The sports hall hosts all sorts - badminton tournaments, volleyball, the usual stuff. It's not glamorous, but it's functional and well-used by locals, which usually means it's decent.

Best for families who want built-in activities without having to hunt around, or anyone staying at Bowbrook Lodges or Ketch Caravan Park who fancies a change from countryside rambling. Swimmers will get the most out of it. A couple of hours is realistic for most visits, depending how much you do.
