Walk down Bridge Street in Pershore and you'll spot them immediately - a terrace of red-brick Victorian cottages that somehow survived the 20th century intact. The brickwork is honest stuff, no fancy flourishes, just solid construction that's held up remarkably well.

They're not a museum or attraction you pay to enter. Instead, you stand outside and appreciate the architecture - the sash windows, the simple chimney stacks, the way the bricks have weathered to that soft salmon colour. Pershore itself is a market town worth a proper wander, so this works best as a stop-off during a stroll rather than a destination in itself. Maybe ten minutes here, then head to the high street for a coffee.

History types will get the most from this. There's something genuinely affecting about seeing ordinary Victorian homes that have housed ordinary lives for 150 years. Families with kids might find it a bit dull unless you're already in town. The real value is for anyone interested in domestic architecture or the social history of Worcestershire.
