The Moody Calf Play Barn

A converted barn just outside Aberaeron that's been turned into an indoor play space - the sort of thing that saves parents' sanity on a rainy Welsh afternoon. The Moody Calf isn't trying to be fancy. You get climbing frames, slides, soft play areas, and enough room for kids to burn off energy without driving you round the bend.

It's genuinely useful if you're camping or caravanning nearby - and there are plenty of options within walking distance, particularly Moody Meadows right on the doorstep at Bargod Farm, or Garth View and Pantcefn Glamping just under a mile away. Families with younger children (say, toddlers through to about eight years old) will get the most out of it. Once kids hit double digits they'll probably want something more challenging.

If you're based at one of the local caravan parks for a few days, it's the sort of place to know about for that inevitable drizzly morning when the beach feels like a non-starter.
