West Kilbride Museum

The converted church hall on Main Street holds more local character than you'd expect from a volunteer-run operation. Inside, you'll find the sort of collection that rewards slow browsing - old photographs of West Kilbride's fishing and textile past, domestic objects that spark recognition, documents charting how a small coastal town actually lived rather than how guidebooks say it did.

This isn't a destination in itself - few people drive specifically to West Kilbride Museum.
