Shepreth Mill Caravan & Camping Holiday Park

I stayed at this site for an overnight bikepacking trip. The site is located close to the Icknield Way Trail so ideal for cyclist heading to Knettishall Heath and beyond. The Green Man pub is within walking distance and there are convenience stores 1.3 miles away in Melbourne. The owner appears to live on site and was very welcoming on arrival. An extremely well run family owned and run site. Very friendly welcome. Toilets and shower blocks in porta cabins kept very clean and well supplied with loo rolls soap etc at all times. Plenty of hot water. Whilst the family have only owned the site for 3 years they are constantly working on improvements. Very conveniently located just off the A10 only 5 miles from M11 interchange.

Just came back from another wonderful visit to Shepreth mill campsite after staying this weekend for the Duxford Battle of Britain airshow could not be more satisfied with the campsite, facilities and the friendliness of the owner will be returning in the future for more stays 10/10 will recommend to anyone in the area

Absolutely amazing campsite - the owners are lovely and so willing to help with whatever you need. The campsite itself is quiet and peaceful, with great facilities for showering, washing up etc. Plus, pubs, coffee shops and the wonderful Shepreth wildlife park within easy walking distance. A highlight for our group was the amazing view of the night sky. Cannot recommend enough!

I broke down here and blocked the owners in for 6 hours. They were very nice to me and even brought me out coffee while i waited. The campsite looked really great too. Couldn't go wrong with nice people like that running it to be fair!
