Had a lovely 2 day weekend break away, escaping from normal life in this lovely location. The Lodge was gorgeous, very homely and relaxing. Clean, tidy and comfortable. My dog and I thoroughly enjoyed the woodland walks and we both relaxed throughout in the lovely surroundings. I will be coming back for sure. Highly recommend a stay. x

The lodge was really cosy & comfortable - we especially loved the bed!. Easy access to the wider area with the Anglo Saxon village 2 minutes away & plenty of dog walks nearby. The entrance is a little tricky to see in the dark, but once you're there it feels very well tucked away. Very dog friendly (although we didn't feel comfy letting her off lead so close to the road).

We have had the most chilled weekend. The woodland cabin was perfect. I have never stayed somewhere so clean. The bed was incredibly comfortable. All the little extras made it so much easier to. (Shampoo, washing up liquid, tea, coffee etc) Although next to the road it was very quiet and we didn't hear any noise from the other cabins. Ideally located to travel around.
